Overview of your Meteora tour

This tour is a unique opportunity for travellers to visit the extraordinary Unesco monument of Meteora. Meteora rock complex are enormous stones with high altitude, which have byzantine monasteries on the top. The view is something is not easy to explain with words. It will take tour breath away. You will me initiated many years ago, at the times of Byzantine empire. Also you will be impressed as soon as you reach the land of Thermopylae. This is the place where the famous battle took place between 300 spartans and Persians. This long day tour will be a life time experience for you and a tour you will remember for years.

Your Meteora tour itinerary

– We will start from Athens very early in the morning.

– We will reach the Monasteries at Meteora and stop to visit the place after 4 hours of driving.

-After your 3 hours visit to the monasteries, we will enjoy food in a local restaurant in Kalabaka.

– After 2 hours driving we will get to Thermopylae museum for a 30 minute stop.

– As soon as we finish our visit in Thermopylae, we will take the way back to Athens.
